Creator Brief: 5-in-1 Mama Cover

Creator brief

5-in-1 Mama Cover

Thank you so much for creating with us. This page lists the shots we'd love most, so nothing is guesswork, and there's no rush.

In your parcel: our 5-in-1 Mama Cover in your chosen print.

We'll use your content on our website, our Amazon listing and our social channels (including ads), always credited to you on social, and we may quote a line from your clip or review with your first name. The must-have shots matter most, and the rest are a bonus.

What to show off

The Mama Cover is one soft, stretchy piece with five uses. Show the ones that fit your little one's age:

  1. Car seat and pram cover. It stretches over the capsule or pram to keep sun and wind off. Always leave an opening so you can see your little one, and check on them often.
  2. Breastfeeding cover. It slips over your head and gives you privacy while you feed, with room to see your baby.
  3. Trolley liner. It covers the shopping trolley seat once your little one can sit up.
  4. High chair cover. A soft layer over the high chair seat.
  5. Infinity scarf. Worn as a scarf when you're out, so it's always with you.

Photo shot list

Pick the shots that fit your stage. Shots 2 and 3 depend on your little one's age, so skip whichever doesn't fit.

# Shot How to frame it
1 Over the pram or capsule The cover on the pram or capsule with the opening clearly visible, so your little one can be seen
2 Feeding out and about If you're feeding: at a cafe, the park or in the car (home is fine too), from your side or over your shoulder. You choose what's shown, and hands, the cover and a peek of baby work beautifully
3 Trolley or high chair If your little one sits up: the cover on the trolley seat or high chair, with them strapped in
4 Worn as a scarf You out and about, cover worn as a scarf, upright and landscape
5 The print, flat The cover laid flat or loosely folded, shot from straight above in daylight
6 Wide shot with space Landscape, with you and your little one on one side and plain wall or empty space across the other half
7 Fabric close-up The print and the stretchy fabric up close, with window light from the side

Video clips

Short and simple is perfect. Film vertically unless noted, and hold still for two or three seconds at the start and end of each.

Clip What happens Length
In your own words Talking to camera, selfie-style: how you use it and what you'd tell a friend about it 15 to 30 s
First look Opening your parcel and your first feel of the cover 10 to 20 s
Each use, quick A short clip of every use you try (pram, feeding, trolley, scarf), so we can cut them together 3 to 5 s each
Over the pram Stretching the cover over the pram or capsule, leaving the opening 5 to 10 s
On in one move Slipping the cover over your head for a feed (if you're feeding) 5 to 10 s
Trolley in seconds Stretching it over the trolley seat before your little one hops in (if they sit up) 5 to 10 s
Cover to scarf Taking it off and wearing it as a scarf 10 to 15 s
Distracted feeder (bonus) If your little one gets curious during feeds: a feed under the cover while you're out 10 to 15 s
Out for the day (bonus) A travel or outing moment: the airport, a car trip or a cafe, with the cover in use 10 to 15 s
Slow pan (bonus) A slow sideways pan across the cover laid flat, filmed landscape About 10 s

Apart from your "in your own words" clip, please leave out music, voiceover and on-screen text. We'll add our own, and clean clips are easier to reuse.

How to shoot

  • Light: shoot near a window in daylight, with no flash. Switch off warm overhead lights, which turn the colours yellow.
  • Framing: take each must-have photo twice, once upright and once landscape. For shot 6, leave about half the frame empty.
  • Backgrounds: plain and light where you can. Move bottles, toys and packaging out of frame.
  • Clothing: plain clothes in soft, neutral colours, without big logos, characters or slogans.
  • Settings: highest quality, no filters or beauty modes. Wipe the lens before you start.

Safety, do's and don'ts

Your little one's safety and comfort come before any shot. If it's not the moment, stop and try another day.

  • When the cover is over the capsule or pram, always leave an opening so you can see your little one, and check on them often.
  • In a trolley or high chair, keep your little one strapped in.
  • Please don't film baby asleep with the cover, blankets, toys or pillows loose in the cot or bassinet. Safe sleep is on their back, in their own cot, with nothing loose around them.
  • You choose whether your little one's face is shown. Hands and over-the-shoulder shots work beautifully too, and we never use their name.
  • Please don't make health, safety or sun protection claims, or mention certifications. Your own words about how it fits into your days are perfect.
  • Please don't name or tag other brands, or shoot in the bath or during a nappy change.
