NDIS Funding

Our silicone feeding range is designed to make mealtimes easier. Suction bases keep bowls and plates on the table, soft silicone spoons are gentle on little gums, and divided sections keep foods separated for kids who like their food just so.

These everyday feeding aids may be claimable through an NDIS plan as low cost assistive technology under Core Supports: Consumables. Zoe Sage is an unregistered NDIS provider, which means self-managed and plan-managed participants can order from us. Agency-managed plans require a registered provider, so we are unable to accept those orders.

What the NDIS says about low cost assistive technology

NDIS guidance lists small devices that assist with eating and drinking, including adaptive cutlery, as low cost assistive technology. Items under $1,500 generally do not need a quote or prior approval and can be purchased online. Whether a particular item can be claimed depends on your individual plan and goals, so check with your plan manager or support coordinator if you are unsure.

How to order

Self-managed

Order online like any other customer and claim the purchase through your NDIS portal. All prices include GST. If you need a tax invoice for your records, reply to your order confirmation email and we will send one.

Plan-managed

Email us at info@zoesage.com.au with the products you would like, the participant's name and NDIS number, your delivery address, and your plan manager's contact details. We will send the invoice straight to your plan manager and post your order as soon as it is paid. Nothing to pay upfront.

Agency-managed

Because we are not a registered NDIS provider, we cannot accept agency-managed orders. Your support coordinator can help you find a registered provider for the items you need.

Feeding aids that belong on the family table

Feeding equipment does not have to look like it came from a hospital. Our range is made from food-grade silicone in colours chosen for real homes. Suction bases hold bowls and plates in place through enthusiastic mealtimes, curved sides make scooping easier, and everything is dishwasher safe.

Our feeding pieces are currently available as a complete set, with individual pieces on the way.

Common questions

Can I use my NDIS funding to buy feeding aids online?

If your plan is self-managed or plan-managed, yes. Low cost assistive technology under $1,500 generally does not need a quote or prior approval, and NDIS guidance notes these items can be bought online. It always depends on your individual plan, so check with your plan manager if you are unsure.

Is Zoe Sage a registered NDIS provider?

No. We are an unregistered provider. Self-managed and plan-managed participants can still order from us. Agency-managed participants need a registered provider.

Do your prices include GST?

Yes. All prices include GST, and a tax invoice is available for any order on request.
